CTG Endurance Training Systems begins with our run, bike, and triathlon specific assessment protocols and science based objective measurements to ultimately change your approach to achieving higher levels of performance within in your triathlon and cycling training.

 

Our system is more than a simple strength program. We encompass our CTG assessment protocols, gait analysis, functional movement screen, strength assessment, metabolic testing, Tri-Strong, & Run-Strong strength programs to create the perfect program to meet your endurance goals.

CTG Endurance Training systems 
Overview and tier system

 TIER 1​

  • Assessment

    • In depth interview to discuss race history, goals, race season, previous experience with strength and endurance training, and injury history

    • PNOE metabolic testing

      • objectively measure your ability to utilize each energy system to target your endurance training requirements​

    • CTG runner/ triathlete functional assessment

      • objectively measures strength, power, run/swim/bike biomechanics, and foundational movement patterns 

  • Endurance Training

    • Weekly endurance training developed by our USAT certified coach to create a program specific to your needs based off your initial assessment and goals​

    • Communication, videos, workouts, warm-ups, educational resources, and data all uploaded through the Final Surge app

  • Sport Specific Strength Training

    • (2) small group strength classes per week designed specifically for triathletes, cyclists, and runners​

      • Incorporates specific needs based off initial assessment ​

      • CSCS coach to assist with technique, cueing, movement modification

      • All workouts are available through the Final Surge app if you are unable to attend a class, so you have access and the ability to complete your strength on your own

      • Videos with detailed explanation and description for each exercise

      • Additional 3rd day to further focus on mobility, drills, and exercises based on your individual assessment to improve your swim, bike, and run

  • Recovery/ Rehabilitation

    • Member's rate of $115 per session if physical therapy is needed during your time of membership

    • Prioritize your rehab and recovery throughout the season with our physical therapists who work directly with our endurance and strength coaches to properly get you back to where you need to be to train and perform at the highest level

 TIER 2

 TIER 3

  • Assessment

    • CTG runner/ cyclist/ triathlete functional assessment

      • objectively measures strength, power, run/swim/bike biomechanics, and foundational movement patterns 

  • Endurance Training

    • Weekly virtual endurance training developed by our USAT certified coach to create a program specific to your needs based off your initial assessment and goals​

    • Communication, videos, workouts, warm-ups, educational resources, and data all uploaded through the Final Surge app

  • Sport Specific  Virtual Strength Training

    • (2) weekly strength sessions per week to supplement your endurance training

      • Incorporates specific needs based off initial assessment ​

      • CSCS coach to design a periodized program to properly peak, maintain, and drop back during the proper times throughout your season

      • All workouts are available through the Final Surge app

      • Videos with detailed explanation and description for each exercise

    • Additional 3rd day to further focus on mobility, drills, and exercises based on your individual assessment to improve your swim, bike, and run

  • Recovery/ Rehabilitation

    • Member's rate of $115 per session if physical therapy is needed during your time of membership
